DETECTION HUB Workshop on Clustering Innovative Scientific Approaches to Enhance the Detection of Drugs, Explosives, and Illicit Goods
METEOR partners, FPI and MION recently attended the workshop organized by the DETECTION HUB in Madrid, Spain last December 13, 2024. It was co-organised by the following EU funded projects: DrugDetect, MELCHIOR Project, BAG-INTEL & PARSEC, with the initiative of the leading organization Center for Security Studies (KEMEA).
The DETECTION HUB Workshop aims to address LEA challenges, foster stakeholder engagement, and showcase EU-funded projects' findings and objectives to identify common goals, enhance exploitation opportunities, and inform diverse end-users.
CERIS Workshop on Innovation for E-Commerce Security and Countering Illicit Transactions
METEOR partners attended the CERIS workshop in Brussels, which covered the topic of Innovation for E-Commerce Security and Countering Illicit Transactions.
Projects to Policy Seminar
VITO and Futuro Perfecto Innovation represented the METEOR project at the Projects to Policy Seminar. This seminar aimed to facilitate two-way communication between newly funded research projects and European Commission services, ensuring projects align with policy priorities and contribute to policy implementation and development, while also fostering networking and synergies among different projects.
As part of the agenda, the METEOR project was presented.
Meteor General Assembly
All 12 partners of the Meteor Consortium gathered in-person last March 14-15, 2024 in Seville, Spain for the General Assembly.
Both days were productive and packed with sessions covering updates and next steps for each Work Package. Overall, it was a successful General Assembly and all partners look forward to continue collaborating as the project progresses.
